Georgian Waters Pollution

On July 31, the “CERENCAN” was allowed to sail unrestricted after its captain, had paid GEL 66 320 fine  for environment pollution, sentenced by the Poti Civil Court  according to the Administrative Code of Georgia, Part 582, Article VII.
The “CERENCAN” - sailing under the flag of Sierra Leone had been detained by the Border Policemen from the Poti Unit of the II (WEST) Office of the MIA Border Police Operative-Investigation Main Office together with the officers from the Black Sea Unit of the Ministry of Energetics and Environmental Protection of Georgia on the charge of Georgian waters pollution on July 30 in Poti Port Raid.
